PFC 05
Race Compound

Race Use Only

PFC's newest compound.
05 Compound has the highest initial bite and highest average torque of any compound.  Virtually no torque rise with temperature.
Release and modulation characteristics are second to none with wear slightly better than 03 compound.
This compound demands the most from the vehicle setup and is designed to handle the most severe applications.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
Call to inquire,

Highest Initial bit of any PFC compound.

Highest average torque of any PFC compound.

Best release and modulation properties of any PFC compound.

Popular uses include:
- Nascar Short Track and Road Course
- High Grip Open Wheel
- Porfessional Prototype/GT
- Tarmac Rally

PFC 03
Race Compound

Race Use Only

Higher bite and higher average torque than 01 compound.  Slight torque rise with tmperature to handle sever conditions. 03 has excellent modulation and release characteristics, less torque scatter than competing pads, and very good disc conditioning properties.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.

Higher torque than 01 Compound

Good modulation and release characteristics.

Popular uses include:
- Nascar Short Track and Road Course
- High Grip Open Wheel
- Porfessional Prototype and GT Rally

PFC 01
Race Compound

Race Use Only

01 compound has high initial bite, high torque, and and very little torque rise with temperature.  01 compound has less torque scatter for improved modulation and excellent release.
01 compound has good disc conditioning properties with low wear.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
Call to inquire,

Highest bite of all PFC Compounds

High, flat torque curve providing excellent pedal modulation

Polishes the rotor without
pad material buildup

Popular uses include:
- All Oval Track Race series
- Open Wheel
- Prototype & GT
- Tarmac / Gravel Rally
- SCCA / NASA / BMWCCA / PCA Racing

PFC 97
Race Compound

Race Use Only

97 Compound has less initial bite and average torque than 01 compound.  97 compound has excellent modulation, a very flat torque curve, and enhanced release characteristics.
97 is considered PFC "Endurance Compound" with the lowest wear of any PFC compound and is also highly recommended as a general purpose pad for club racing and track day events.

Very Flat Torque characteristics

Extremely easy on discs

Long wearing
"Endurace Compound"

Popular uses include:
- All Oval Track Race series
- Endurance Prototype & GT
- SCCA / NASA / BMWCCA / PCA Racing
- Track day and Driver Education events
- Tarmac/Gravel Rally
PFC 81
Race Compound

Race Use Only

Replaces the 80 compound.
81 offers smooth and stable high temperature torque with excellent cold bite for the dirt and asphalt racers that demand race ready friction.  81 compound also offers quicker release for unrivaled modulation with low wear and excellent disc conditioning properties.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.

Popular uses include:
- IMCA Modified
- Dirt late models
- Street Stocks

PFC 83
Race Compound

Race Use Only
The 83 compound has a tremendous history of success.  83 has an extremely high level of bite that is capable of withstanding the most arduous of conditions.  Very popular choice for Nascar, GT's and Touring Cars where a high level of bite and ability to withstand extreme conditions without fade are important requirements.  The lifespan of the discs can be compromised with 83 compound which has led the way for the development of new compounds that have similar performance but increased pad and disc longevity.

PFC 90
Race Compound

Race Use Only
90 was developed at the same time as 93 and is very similar with lower torque output. It also has a higher wear rate under super severe service. Recommended and preferred for Asphalt Late Model Stocks, Pro Stock and Limited Late Model type race cars. Used by the Bob Bondurant High Performance School of Driving. Allowing three times the pad and rotor life, ultimate torque close to 93. This compound teaches drivers braking finesse and pedal feel. Its modulation characteristics also make it forgiving. Recommended by drivers of Winston Cup and European Touring Cars. Ideal combination with 93 on the front. Highly recommended as a general purpose race pad . Preferred by IndyCar and Indy Lights drivers for one mile ovals because of the finesse characteristics of settling the car without over slowing.

PFC 93
Race Compound

Race Use Only
Developed after the 83 compound. Improvements include: better release characteristic; great improvement for trailing into a corner or modulation at threshold braking; kinder to disc; polishes disc smooth even under severe conditions. Racers claim three times the disc life. Pad life of the 93 compound is slightly better than 83. 93 comes on quicker and has a flatter torque curve - a plus in some applications. 93 has a progressive torque curve with a slight rise in friction within the braking event.  This provides the driver with the confidence to brake alate knowing the pad will not suffer from fade.  93 is effective throughout the tmperature range, however cooling is recommended as not to thermally deteriorate the disc.

Not all of the PFC Compounds are available for every pad shape.
